INFORMATION FOR
KAVADI/PAAL KUDAM BEARERS
POINTS TO NOTE
- Temple Paal Kavadi will leave the Assembly Tent at 3am. No Kavadis and Paal Kudams are allowed to leave the Assembly Tent before the Temple Paal Kavadi.
- Devotees participating in the procession are encouraged to be attired appropriately. Painting of faces/bodies and/or wearing any form of disguise is not permitted.
- Anyone below the age of 16 years is only allowed to carry Paal Kavadi/Paal Kudam.
- Piercing of hooks and spikes for persons below the age of 16 years is not allowed.

- Devotees are requested to clear their used prayer materials before they leave the Assembly and Dismantling Tents, in consideration for the next group of devotees who will need the space to prepare their Kavadi/Paal Kudam. Likewise, devotees completing their vows are requested to keep the temple premises free of litter.
- Devotees with medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes or asthma, and those who may have undergone treatment for heart conditions, are kindly requested to refrain from strenuous Kavadi vows. We kindly request you to seek the advice of your doctor on this matter.
- There should be strictly no consumption or possession of alcohol within the Panguni Uthiram procession route and temple premises. Those who are seen in possession of alcohol or have consumed alcohol will be asked to leave the procession.
- In the situation of high temperature, devotees are advised not to use the procession route from 12pm to 2:30pm.

Paal Kudam and Paal Kavadi tickets will be available at the Temple Counter from 23 February 2026.
